Welcome to St Joseph’s Primary
Farewell Mrs Seymour
After 17 years of outstanding service Mrs Therese Seymour finishes at Joeys on Friday 1 July..
Mrs Seymour, as a school community we say thank you for everything you have done for us as a Principal, teacher, colleague and friend. You have led us on an amazing journey over the years – through so many changes and events. With your guidance we have moved to flexible learning and built a strong culture of positivity and support, so our school has become a light house school in the Diocese. You have encouraged us to discover our potential within and uncover the power of Yet! Your knowledge and understanding of education is incomparable, as is your willingness to share this with others. Your compassion, fairness and genuine care for others is reflected in the tremendous loss we all feel as you move to retirement. We know this is not goodbye as you will forever be welcome to come back at any time and share in the joy that is Joeys. May you find great peace and happiness in your retirement. We love you very much and will miss you immensely. Go forth in Growth and Love.
God Bless you and thank you.
Learning Never Stops
Here at St Joseph’s the learning never stops…even for our staff! Every Wednesday afternoon our staff gather for staff meetings. During this time we meet to learn and discuss many aspects of our school. Last week we were joined by Michelle Bunder from Apple who supported us in our learning about iPads and apps. We worked together to explore fun ways we can incorporate these tools into all KLAs. Bubble blowing and iPads are serious business!
